Confidence Playgrounds invites dogs to explore, think, make choices and discover what they can do through playful setups and everyday experiences.
From household objects and different surfaces to movement, novelty and simple challenges, each playground creates opportunities for curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence
Every dog approaches a playground differently. Some dive straight in, while others pause, investigate, or find their own way through. The goal is to notice how your dog approaches the experience and give them room to figure things out.
Inside the course, you’ll explore:
• curiosity around novelty and change
• thoughtful exploration and problem-solving
• making choices and trying different approaches
• body awareness and movement
• flexibility when things look or feel different
• confidence that grows through experience and play
There’s no need for elaborate equipment or complicated setups. The focus is on creating enjoyable opportunities for your dog to investigate, experiment, and learn.

Confidence Playgrounds is for anyone who wants to help their dog become more comfortable, curious, and capable when they encounter something new.
These playful setups can be simple or elaborate, indoors or outside, and created with things you already have around you.
It’s perfect for:
• puppies discovering the world for the first time
• adolescent dogs navigating a world that can suddenly feel different
• older dogs who would benefit from new confidence-building experiences
• thoughtful or cautious dogs who like time to investigate
• bold, curious dogs who enjoy exploring and problem-solving
• people who want to build confidence, optimism, flexibility, and thoughtful choices through play
• anyone looking for simple ways to make games-based training part of everyday life
Some Confidence Playgrounds are all about free exploration, while others include guided activities with a particular way to set them up or work through them.
When your dog is exploring freely, their choices are part of the experience. You’re creating opportunities for them to think, investigate, figure things out, and discover what they can do.
Over the years, I’ve learned that some of the most meaningful training doesn’t look much like training at all. It might be a cardboard box on the floor, an umbrella in the driveway, a few everyday objects arranged differently, or a dog simply taking the time to figure something out.
Those small experiences can become something much bigger. Dogs learn that they can approach something new, work through a challenge and find their own way forward.
Confidence Playgrounds grew from those everyday moments with my own dogs. I wanted to share a way of training that can be playful, creative and woven into real life—without needing elaborate equipment or a perfect setup.

Every new challenge is an opportunity for your dog to stretch just a little bit further.
You don’t have to begin with a room full of objects. Sometimes one unfamiliar item,
a different surface, or a simple change to something familiar is enough.
Marley and JJ will be your guides along the way, sharing playgrounds from
the very first stages of discovery to more elaborate challenges
built through experience.
Start with what your dog can manage and build from there.
As they become more experienced, playgrounds can change, grow, and
become more challenging — but bigger isn’t necessarily better.
What matters is giving your dog an experience they’re ready for and letting the
next step grow from there.
Confidence Playgrounds is coming soon — created to bring more curiosity, discovery,
problem-solving, and playful learning into everyday life with your dog.
